CUBA Y LOS NAIPES

This deck comes in a sturdy, one-piece, carton box, which opens by lifting the lid on one side. Inside the title and publisher are mentioned, just like "Made in Cuba".

The deck consists of 52 cards and a joker.

The Ace of Hearts has the same picture as the Ace of Hearts in the deck.

There was a Cuban tax band inside the box, which refers to the tax law of "29 enero 1931" and dates from the period in which the deck was printed and published (c 1934).

At the bottom of the page is a second deck, with a few differences in cards when compared with this edition.

A second deck with the same box, but with different card on top. The 5 of Hearts is the same as the 5 of Hearts in the deck, but there are a few differences in the cards of this deck. Here we only show the different cards. The joker has the same image but a different color.

The pictures on the King and Queen were switched, when compared to the previous deck.

The cards here below have the same images, but the suit signs were originally printed as hearts. Someone has adjusted these with a pencil by hand into diamonds.

These differences indicate that there were more than one printrun and edition realized.
